*** We are currently filling a wait list for a full book club experience upon a few requests. Which would include a robotics class in South Tampa. Please join the wait list if you are intrested, 15 students are needed to host a class on Thursday, September 26th. ****
This alternative is designed for participants who are unable to attend the initial meeting but still wish to engage in the planned book club. Opting for this choice also grants early access and priority registration for the specific book club's additional events.
This alternative also caters to siblings who wish to have their own Curriculum kit supplies, or those who are unable to join a scheduled event because of age restrictions or scheduling conflicts.
If you have a second child participating in our in-person initial book club meeting, your self-guided kit will be provided on the same day. If you won't be attending the first book club meeting, please reply to this email at [email protected] to arrange for your curriculum kit to be collected or mailed to you.
Please Note: Cancellations made after the registration is complete for events are non-refundable. In cases where cancellation becomes necessary due to unforeseen circumstances, you may submit a request for consideration. While we strive to accommodate such requests and offer partial refunds, please note that this cannot be guaranteed. Cancelations requested before the registration deadline may be made excluding processing fees.
About Our Book Clubs
Embark on an exciting book club adventure. We have a created a one-of-a-kind book club that aligns with a curriculum while being incredibly enjoyable for your kids. Participants will adore the characters in the " The Wild Robot" and engage in activities that enhance their understanding and connection with the story. Class registration offers a specialized Robotics session at Bricks for Kids tailored for the Florida Explorers Association's "Calling All Wild Robots" Book Club.
While not obligatory, membership in our organization's book clubs is highly encouraged as it significantly contributes to the success of these events. Joining as a member allows you to enjoy discounts, access our full calendar, and attend exclusive events. Members receive priority notifications and early registration opportunities. To ensure the best experience for all participants, many of our events have a limited capacity.
- Florida Explorers Book Clubs consists of a minimum of two meetings, in some cases a third unique educational opportunity will be offered mid way through a book.
- Meetings are not required for participation in most cases registration is offered for a self guided curriclum kit. In which you may arrange for pick up or to have it mailed to you with an added shipping fee .
- Each book club kicks off with an introductory meeting where the story is presented, and members take part in a specialized unit study. Book club supplies and enrichment items will be provided during this session, included in your book club registration fee or in your self guided curriculum kit.
- The conclusion of each book club will involve an exclusive field experience, which is not covered in your initial registration. You will need to sign up separately for each culminating book club event.
