We are headed to the see the Wonderful Wizard of Oz event in Beech Mountain, North Carolina. In celebration of the conclusion of our July/August book club, marking our first out-of-state gathering. The Land of Oz event is a popular annual occasion that sells out every year! The Florida Explorers Association has secured a limited number of tickets for this event. The hosts of Land of Oz have tailored parts of this experience exclusively for our group, and we are excited for an unforgettable time.
Event Details:
- All attendees are responsible for arranging their own accommodation and transportation to and from the event. Your registration covers admission to the park and festival only.
- This event is non-refundable due to ticketing restrictions and scheduled tour times. If you are unable to attend or need to cancel, we will make every effort to assist with transferring your tickets and obtaining a partial refund, but this is not a guaranteed.
- Tickets for this event are $90.00 per person, all participants ages 3 and older requier a ticket. Each ticket is inclusive of a shuttle service to the mountain top and access to the Over the Rainbow overlook. This viewing deck, situated approximately 5,560 feet above sea level, offers breathtaking views of five different states.
- Please note there is an additional registration fees for non-members.
- Additional group experiences in the North Carolina area are in the works and will be announced soon.
- Each event will require a separate registration for each family.

The Autumn at Oz Festival is the largest Oz festival in the world! A combination of your standard festival with arts & craft, handmade trinkets, memorabilia, & food vendors, it also includes a completely immersive theatrical experience where guests are engulfed into the classic story as you travel into the Gale Kansas Farm, through the tornado experience, and down the yellow brick road to the Emerald City. Along the way, meet all of your favorite characters for photo opportunities, see many live performances, and shop for your favorite Wizard of Oz Memorabilia.
